Just a reminder that your story is still being written…

Learning lots, sometimes relearning, always growing… (even if you can’t see it at the time). Navigating the mid-twenties and all that it brings! The highs, the lows, and everything inbetween. Changing seasons and steady seasons.

Experiencing both the joys, and the things that suddenly take you by surprise; those unexpected moments that you didn’t perceive! Letting go, and then re-surrendering. Being patient, yet remaining with expectation. Staying planted in a place of gratitude, and feeling thankful, and yet sometimes feeling the tension of living in a world where you see pain and injustice. ⁣

There’s a verse in the bible I love and come back to often! It’s found in Ecclesiastes 3:11, and it says; ‘Everything will be beautiful in its time.’ It’s a promise, but it’s not founded on false hope, but a promise of the eternal. Something far greater than ourselves and not only for our lives, but also a future hope. ⁣

I have found ‘that’ hope only to be found in God. A hope that does not change like the seasons. A hope that is true, reliable, trustworthy, and such a beautiful gift! ⁣

Someone said to me recently; “Sometimes the hard things have a way of becoming beautiful stories.” I love that! It kind of stopped me mid-conversation, as I talked about some of the unknowns and just the reality of life that we all face! We might not quite see it yet; the fullness of our stories. But trusting in a certain and eternal hope, is the best place to remain.

So, coming back to those simple and steady words… ‘Everything will be beautiful in its time.’ ⁣
